The short answer: Primal Viking is a real company shipping a real product, but its flagship Ancestral Testosterone Booster lists its four organs as one 337.5mg blend, is sold by subscription only, and runs $2.08 a day on the single-jar plan. If you want a natural testosterone support formula where every dose is printed, you can buy it once, and it costs $1.30 a day, look at Overdrive Men's. Want the full stack? The Rock-Hard Pack runs $3.90 a day against the Primal Viking Ritual's $5.33.

If you've been on TikTok or Facebook lately, you've probably seen the ads: a Viking on the bottle, reindeer organs, and a promise that modern men lost something their ancestors had. It's a good story. The comment sections under those ads are full of guys asking the same things: is it wild reindeer or farmed, is it any different from beef organs, and is any of it real?

We pulled Primal Viking's supplement facts panel, pricing, and purchase options straight from their site in September 2026 and put them next to our own. Here's what's actually in the jar, what it costs, and who it makes sense for.

What Is Primal Viking?

Primal Viking sells what it calls ancestral supplements for men. The flagship is the Ancestral Testosterone Booster, a capsule built around organ meat (reindeer liver, heart, and kidney, plus beef testicles) and four herbal extracts. The brand also sells the Triple Testosterone Booster Ritual, which bundles the booster with a liquid herbal drop and a cod liver oil, plus a few smaller products like libido drops and a massage balm.

The product page claims "94% increased their testosterone," says it "melts man boobs and beer belly," and states that "96% of users lost fat." It lists 2,981 reviews and says the product is made in the USA and third-party tested.

What's Actually in the Primal Viking Booster

Here's the full supplement facts panel for the Ancestral Testosterone Booster, per 2-capsule serving, 24 servings per jar:

Ingredient Amount per serving
Proprietary Blend: Reindeer Liver, Reindeer Heart, Reindeer Kidney, Beef Testicles 337.50mg total (no individual doses)
Rhodiola root extract 10:1 33.75mg
Sea Buckthorn fruit extract 10:1 28.75mg
Nettle leaf extract 10:1 16.87mg
Peppermint leaf extract 10:1 5mg
Total actives About 422mg

Other ingredients: gelatin (capsule) and rice hulls.

Three things stand out.

The organs are all in one blend. Four organs share 337.5mg, and the label doesn't say how much of each. You can't tell whether you're getting 300mg of liver and a sprinkle of testicle, or the other way around.

The doses are small. The whole serving is about 422mg. For comparison, a single serving of beef liver as food is roughly 100 grams, more than 200 times what's in a day of these capsules. The four herbs range from 5mg to 34mg each.

There's no published study behind the headline claims. The product page we reviewed doesn't cite a published trial of the finished formula behind "94% increased their testosterone" or "96% lost fat."

What the research says about these ingredients

We looked for human studies on each ingredient and testosterone. We didn't find any trials showing that reindeer or beef organ capsules raise testosterone in men. Rhodiola has been studied mostly for stress and fatigue, not testosterone. Sea buckthorn and nettle leaf don't have solid human testosterone data either.

To be fair, that's true of a lot of herbal ingredients across the whole testosterone category. That's why the label matters: when every dose is printed, you can check it against the research yourself. When it's in a blend, you can't.

Is It Wild Reindeer or Farmed?

This is the most common question in the comments under Primal Viking's ads. The supplement facts panel just says "ReinDeer Liver, ReinDeer Heart, ReinDeer Kidney." Their Ritual product page describes it as "Wild Arctic Reindeer." We didn't find sourcing documentation on the product pages we reviewed, so that's as far as the answer goes: it's what the brand says, not something the label or a third party confirms.

The other common question is whether reindeer organ is any different from beef organ. Both are organ meats, and the blend includes beef testicles anyway. At 337.5mg split four ways, any nutrient difference between reindeer and cattle is going to be tiny either way.

Primal Viking Price: Subscription Only

We couldn't find a one-time purchase option anywhere on the booster page. Every tier is a subscription, and the cart confirmed a single jar ships every 24 days.

Plan Price Ships every Cost per day
1 jar $49.99 24 days $2.08
2 jars $45.99 per jar 48 days $1.92
4 jars $37.49 per jar ($149.99 up front) 96 days $1.56

The page runs a countdown timer saying the price increases when it hits zero. On the same day we checked, the booster page called it an end-of-Fall sale and the Ritual page called it an end-of-Labor-Day sale. The free shipping badge says "on 2 jars." There's a 30-day money-back guarantee.

The bigger issue is that there's no way to try one jar without signing up for a recurring charge. If it doesn't work for you, you're the one who has to remember to cancel.

Primal Viking vs Overdrive Men's

Overdrive Men's is our daily natural testosterone support formula, built for men who work physical jobs. Here's how the two compare side by side:

What's in Overdrive Men's

Per 3-capsule serving, 30 servings per bottle: Tribulus (fruit) 750mg, Magnesium 200mg, Zinc 30mg, Chrysin 75mg, Epimedium 50mg, Tongkat Ali (Longjack root) 50mg, Saw Palmetto berries 50mg, Chinese Hawthorn berries 50mg, and Winged Treebine (Cissus quadrangularis) 50mg. Every dose is listed individually. It's natural and hormone-free, made in the USA with global ingredients, third-party tested, and drug-test safe.

Where Primal Viking wins

We'll give them this. If you specifically want an organ-based, "ancestral" formula, Primal Viking is built for that and Overdrive isn't. It's two capsules a day instead of three. And they have far more reviews than we do right now.

Where Overdrive wins

You can see every dose. You can buy one bottle without a subscription. And it costs about $357 less per year on subscription than Primal Viking's single-jar plan. For guys who get drug tested at work, Overdrive contains no hormones and nothing that would trigger a failed test.

The Primal Viking Ritual vs the Rock-Hard Pack

The Triple Testosterone Booster Ritual bundles three products: the Ancestral Testosterone Booster, the Ultimate Botanical Vitality Drops, and the Total Recomposition Cod Liver Oil. Each lasts 24 days. Our closest match is the Rock-Hard Pack: Overdrive, Hammer, and N.O. Flow, a 30-day supply of each.

Primal Viking Ritual Rock-Hard Pack
What's in it Booster + Vitality Drops + Cod Liver Oil Overdrive + Hammer + N.O. Flow
Supply 24 days 30 days
How you buy Subscription only One-time or subscribe and save 15%
Price $127.99 (1 ritual), $120.99 each (2), $106.49 each (4) $116.99 one-time / $99.44 subscribed
Cost per day $5.33 / $5.04 / $4.44 $3.90 one-time / $3.31 subscribed
Tongkat Ali 166.66mcg, as printed on the drops label 450mg (400mg in Hammer + 50mg in Overdrive)
Omega-3 Yes: 425mg DHA + 309mg EPA Not included
Circulation support Not included N.O. Flow: 800mg arginine + 400mg citrulline

Tongkat Ali is the biggest difference. Of all the herbs sold for testosterone support, Tongkat Ali has some of the better human research behind it, and studies generally use a few hundred milligrams a day. The Rock-Hard Pack gives you 450mg. The Primal Viking drops label lists 166.66 micrograms. A few units on that drops panel look like they may be misprints (zinc shows 91% of the daily value at "10 mcg," which only adds up at 10mg), so we're reporting it exactly as printed.

Where the Ritual wins: it includes a cod liver oil with a real dose of omega-3s, which the Rock-Hard Pack doesn't. If you want fish oil in the mix, you'd add our Omega separately.

Where the Rock-Hard Pack wins: about $1.40 less per day at the entry price, a full 30-day supply, the option to buy once, and N.O. Flow, a daily circulation formula with arginine and citrulline, two building blocks your body uses to make nitric oxide. For a full walkthrough of the stack, see our Rock-Hard formula guide.

Primal Viking vs Mars Men

A lot of guys comparing Primal Viking are also looking at Mars Men. They're very different products. Mars Men Boost prints all 11 doses, uses no proprietary blends, and costs $59 a month on subscription ($1.97 a day) with a 90-day guarantee. Primal Viking lists its organs as one blend and runs $2.08 a day on its entry plan with a 30-day guarantee. We broke down the reformulated Mars Men label in our full Mars Men review, and compared it with Menerals in Mars Men vs Menerals.

The Verdict: Is Primal Viking Worth It?

Primal Viking is a real product from a real company, and if the organ-based angle is exactly what you want, it's built for that. But you're paying $2.08 a day, by subscription only, for about 422mg of ingredients where you can't see the individual organ doses, backed by claims the product page doesn't tie to a published study.

If you'd rather know exactly what you're taking, Overdrive Men's prints every dose, costs $1.30 a day, and lets you buy one bottle to try it. If you want the full stack, the Rock-Hard Pack delivers 450mg of Tongkat Ali a day for less than the Ritual costs. Still deciding who to trust? Here's our honest answer to whether Blue Collar Nutrition is legit.

Primal Viking FAQ

Is Primal Viking legit?
Yes, Primal Viking is a real company that ships a real product with a 30-day money-back guarantee. The concerns are the proprietary organ blend, subscription-only buying, and headline claims like "94% increased their testosterone" that the product page doesn't tie to a published study.

What is in Primal Viking?
Per 2-capsule serving: a 337.5mg proprietary blend of reindeer liver, reindeer heart, reindeer kidney, and beef testicles, plus Rhodiola 33.75mg, Sea Buckthorn 28.75mg, Nettle leaf 16.87mg, and Peppermint leaf 5mg. That's about 422mg total, with 24 servings per jar.

Is Primal Viking wild or farmed reindeer?
The supplement facts panel only says "reindeer liver, heart, and kidney." Primal Viking's Ritual page describes it as wild Arctic reindeer, but we didn't find sourcing documentation on the product pages we reviewed.

Is reindeer organ better than beef organ?
Both are organ meats, and Primal Viking's blend includes beef testicles alongside the reindeer organs. At 337.5mg split across four organs, any nutrient difference between reindeer and cattle is very small.

Does Primal Viking actually raise testosterone?
Primal Viking claims 94% of users increased their testosterone, but the product page doesn't cite a published trial of the finished formula. We didn't find human studies showing that organ meat capsules, sea buckthorn, or nettle leaf raise testosterone in men.

Can you buy Primal Viking without a subscription?
We couldn't find a one-time purchase option on the booster page. Every tier is a subscription, and a single jar ships every 24 days. Overdrive Men's can be bought once for $39.00 or subscribed for $33.15.

How much does Primal Viking cost per day?
$2.08 a day on the 1-jar plan ($49.99 every 24 days), $1.92 on the 2-jar plan, and $1.56 on the 4-jar plan, which bills $149.99 up front every 96 days.

Does Primal Viking have a money-back guarantee?
Yes, Primal Viking offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. Blue Collar Nutrition also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

What is the Primal Viking Ritual?
The Triple Testosterone Booster Ritual bundles the Ancestral Testosterone Booster, Ultimate Botanical Vitality Drops, and Total Recomposition Cod Liver Oil. It costs $127.99 per 24-day ritual by subscription, or $5.33 a day. The Rock-Hard Pack is $116.99 for 30 days, or $3.90 a day.

Primal Viking vs Mars Men: which is better?
Mars Men prints all 11 ingredient doses, costs $1.97 a day on subscription, and has a 90-day guarantee. Primal Viking uses a proprietary organ blend, costs $2.08 a day on its entry plan, and has a 30-day guarantee. See our full Mars Men review for the label breakdown.

What is a good alternative to Primal Viking?
Overdrive Men's is a natural, hormone-free testosterone support formula with every dose printed and no proprietary blends. It costs $1.30 a day, and you can buy one bottle without a subscription.

Will Overdrive make me fail a drug test?
Absolutely not. All products are natural, hormone-free, and do not contain any amphetamines or substances that would trigger a failed drug test — whether for bodybuilding, employment, or any other purpose.
