The ongoing math is simpler. Both stages together work out to about $2.50 a day on the pack, against $2.79 buying the jars separately. How the two-stage day works
Before the shift. One scoop of Before Work Fuel in cold water. 150mg of caffeine with electrolytes and B vitamins in the same glass, which is what a can doesn't give you. Beta-alanine may cause a brief harmless tingle — more noticeable at two scoops than one.
Through the morning. Water. If it's hot and you're sweating hard, Hydrate carries 500mg sodium and 340mg potassium per scoop — Before Work Fuel has electrolytes in it, but it isn't a hydration product.
